My book club read “Revolutionary Road” a few months ago, before we even knew it was going to be a movie. I looooved it. We read it because the girl who picked it was at the Strand bookstore in New York and it was an employee pick with the words, “If you only read one book in your life, it should be this one.” For me, it lived up to the hype. Would love to hear your thoughts on it after you read.

(Also, great job on NaBloPoMo.)

I completely failed at NaBloPoMo this year. I got one entry and then deleted it. Maybe next year.

Also, what is with the chewing in church? Did you sneak in a turkey sandwich and get caught? I am intrigued.

We did it! Instead of tar-and-feathering you I just want to say thank you for the inspiration. I was fading fast on the blog, at times posting maybe once a month, and this NaBlaMiMa really re-energized the whole thing.

(and I did it despite my shiny new obsession with Shrinky Dinks. Which I am giving away, as a prize, on my blog…wink wink)

Congrats. I accidentally quit last week sometime, so you did better than I did. And I’m always disappointed at Calendar selections. I can never figure out WHY the ones on the shelves are “perfect” – I just know they aren’t. I’m logical like that.
