we had a black cat when i was five. he used to pounce on me. i was really terrified of him. but lovely ramona looks like a sweetie.

My neighbors next door, the ones next to them, and my family all have black cats. (5 in all)

I once heard that it was good luck to give a new bride a black cat. I’ve no idea of the logic behind that, but it is a nice thought.
