Plague and Pestilence

Weeks have passed during which I listened to nothing but Mumford and Sons. If you don’t listen to anything else today, listen to this:

The Black Eyed Peas can’t do that. (Actually, maybe they can. I have no idea.) ((They can’t. We all know they can’t.)) ‘ ‘ ‘text/javascript’>

  1. Soooooooo Gooooood! They are one of the artist seeds on my “Coffee shop soundtrack” station on Pandora. ‘Great Minds…’, Eh?

  2. One of the many things I love about Mumford and Sons is that they are from England, yet there music sounds like it came straight from the hills in Kentucky. Old, twangy southern like hyms. I love that.

Also, I want to kiss them on the mouths.

  3. I think I spent 2 months listening to nothing but them after I heard Little Lion Man on the radio. I adore them and hope to see them in concert some day so I can throw my bra at them.

  4. Ben Folds, Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers, Fleet Foxes, Kings of Convenience, Bon Iver…. And lately? The Wailin’ Jennys. They make my little indie soul happy.

  5. I listened to Mumford & Sons all the time when I was pregnant. I am sitting here at my kitchen table, feeding my son rice cereal and played this. He completely stopped, looked at the computer, looked at me and grinned the biggest grin ever. Thank you.
