at 4/5/2008 11:18:02 AM- These are too cool for words. You and Dave should totally make these into a little book. You could easily do it with blurb.com and sell them! And no, I don't work for blurb. Just a thought.

at 4/5/2008 12:19:50 PM- OMG, these are fabulous! Slice of life vignettes. The understatedness of your observations ("they're everywhere, you know") combined with his drawings... I smell a future cult classic!
("What?! You mean you haven't seen 'The Illustrated Fluid Pudding' yet??!")
Seriously, you should do this!

at 4/5/2008 1:37:05 PMThese are 10 times better than most of the "alternative comics" I see published in the "alternative press". The lettering blows me away.

at 4/10/2008 10:00:57 AM- I'm sorry to have to disagree with everyone else here...I hate these.
Why? Because it's yet another reason I end up being stinkin' jealous of your creativity and talent. I try to draw and end up making uneven squares and the same simple geometric squares that I always draw, indicating a possible genetic sequence deficiency in my DNA. I hate that they're so good, so transparent, and incisive.*
Excuse me while I go back to re-read them a few more times and then go ask God to forgive my unbridled avarice.
*i don't really hate them.

These are so cool.
They remind me of letters my dad sent me when I was little. They were all his illustrations of the lady who swallowed a spider. I wish I still had them.
