Sakina, I am WITH you! I can't imagine spending time on another Wallace book. I joined a book club this year. Stunned to see that ours read an almost identical list to FP's! Also added the first Twilight, the sappy Marley and Me. We are women ages 25 - 60, greatly diverse interests and careers. Jest was my first venture into DFW’s writing. Sakina, I am WITH you! While I read it all I could think was oh, oh, oh David Foster Wallace (RIP) it's such a "writer's writer" exercise in onanism. I guess I'm on my own here though. Still heart you bunches.
