I make smoothies all the time, especially in the summer with ice added. I love one I created last year. In the blender you add 14 ice cubes to two cups of OJ, then pile on the frozen organic berries (I used a bramble berry mix but any berries will do) and blend until smooth. It makes two 16 oz smoothies and its WONDERFUL!!! One way I use juice is in smoothies. I make smoothies all the time, especially in the summer with ice added. I love one I created last year. I love the purple fruits the best! I like to marinate chicken or beef overnight in oj and add some Chinese 5 spice. Bake or put on the grill and its great! You can make other marinates with oj,honey and mix in the spices you like ,perfect for chicken . You can make extra and baste as you cook! Also, you can replace water in cake mixes with orange juice. It is really yummy in a yellow cake, or a spice cake. One of my favs is Paula Deens Orange Brownies - they are so good. I haven't made them in a while - I wish I wasn't so sleepy, otherwise I'd make them tonight:)) Orange juice is great to use in homemade salad dressings.
