When at another persons’ house for dinner or a movie night, I will be the one that cleans up. I can’t resist. Its sick. I am a sick human being.

I clean with pine sol because I like the pretty, pretty smell. I also burn candles because I worked for Hallmark and the yankee discount was amazing. Favorite scents? Sparkling Pine, Dune Grass, and Macintosh Spice. Oh, and Autumn Fruit.

I like things to smell pleasant and welcoming. Not sterile or “fresh”. But that I want you in my home. I want you to think I am baking a delicious pie. When in all actuality, I will have twinkies artfully arranged on a plate.

An air freshener unit would be nice. And a lot less dangerous than candles burning. I’ve never forgotten to blow one out before but that is my fear. I leave the house and repeatedly ask myself if all flames were extinguished. What about the one in the bathroom? What if my hosue burns down? What if the cat walk by a dying flame and it strikes back up because of the wind?

I wish I was kidding. But. I am not.
