You know me.
I really can’t let a first day of school go by without sharing the photos.
And, look. I even made them hug.
(It took about 25 failed shots to get one hug photo in which both girls look at least partially happy. “Keep hugging! No! We’re not there yet! Hug! Happy hugs! Hu-uh-uhg!”)
((Congratulations to Peggy for winning the hat or gloves! And thank you so much to all who donated or who still might donate! We’re almost there!!!)) ‘ ‘ ‘text/javascript’>
Gorgeous girls, as ever. Enjoy your graham crackers with chocolate frosting!
Jack & Riley start kindergarten next Tuesday. I ordered them “Class of 2024” shirts, which they will wear for photos. My master plan is that on the first day of their senior year of high school I will make them hold up their kindergarten-sized “Class of 2024” shirts for first day of school photos. (And they had better be smiling.) You gave me the idea! (sort of!) Thank you!
Admit it – as big a pain as it is to get a nice hug photo, it is always totally worth it. Look at those girls! Adorable.
*Love* their t-shirts, and also, love the reluctant hug, because, I can *totally* relate to that. Mmmhmm. Ah, sibling love….
Beautiful.
Hu uh uh ugggh!!!!
I especially love how Meredith is rocking the asymetrical bangs. And, Harper’s shoe laces — woo!!
Here’s to a good year for all the Pudding Girls (and Pudding Pups, and of course also to the entirely fabulous Pudding Pop!)
My sister and I are five years apart. I remember wicked fights (I think she threw an egg at me once) and forced hugs. Forced hugs.
Yeah, that’s all I have to say about that. But I hope the girls had a perfect first day of school. They look ready to take on the world.
